How long before rankings move?
Technical fixes typically produce movement within 4 to 8 weeks. Content and link building results take 3 to 6 months to build meaningfully. For highly competitive categories, plan for 6 to 12 months before significant traffic movement. We tell you what to expect at the audit stage based on your specific situation, and we put it in writing before you commit.
What do you actually do each month?
On a retainer, monthly work includes: monitoring and adjusting keyword targets, continued on-page optimisation for new pages, 1 to 4 content pieces depending on engagement level, link outreach and follow-up, and a full report with next-month plan. For fixed-scope projects, the scope is defined upfront and does not change without your approval.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. Search rankings depend on many factors we do not fully control: algorithm changes, competitor activity, and site changes on your side. What we guarantee is documented professional work done according to the agreed scope, transparent reporting, and honest communication when something is not working.
Is SEO still worth it with AI search?
Yes. AI Overviews and other generative search features draw from the same signals that standard SEO has always built: authority, relevance, and technical quality. Sites with strong organic authority are more likely to be cited in AI answers, not less. The fundamentals still apply.
Do you work outside Minnesota?
Yes. We are based in Savage, MN but work with clients across the US. Location is not relevant to the quality of the work. Most communication happens by email and monthly video call.
What is your refund policy?
For project-based work, we offer a partial refund based on how far the engagement has progressed. If no work has started, a full refund is available within 48 hours of payment. Once the audit phase is complete, a 65% refund is available. After strategy is approved and implementation begins, refunds are evaluated case by case.
How many clients do you take on at once?
We deliberately limit the number of active clients so that every engagement gets proper attention. We maintain a short waitlist when at capacity and will tell you upfront if the timing does not work.
What tools do you use?
Ahrefs for keyword and link research, Screaming Frog for technical crawls, Google Search Console and Analytics 4 for performance data, and Looker Studio for client reporting dashboards. We are not affiliated with any of these tools and receive no referral compensation for recommending them.
Do you offer reporting?
Yes. Every engagement includes monthly reports. Retainer and Growth Reign clients also get a live Looker Studio dashboard for real-time data. The dashboard is yours to keep at the end of any engagement. Reports cover positions, organic traffic trends, goal completions, and the specific work done in the prior month.
